BCDA is a statutory authority established through an Act passed by the Provincial Assembly in the year 1998 and duly amended in 2003 and 2014. The jurisdiction of the authority starts from high tide waterline with 30km of area upland excluding townships, Gaddani Ship Breaking Yard, defence and other Federal Government installations.
